President – Rev/ Dr. Wanbing Frank Li

Agape Way was founded by Dr. Wanbing Frank Li and Dr. Anna Li in 2000.  Born into abject poverty in a rural village in the Sichuan Province of southwestern China, Frank faced great adversity on his educational journey. After beating the 1 to 100 odds of graduating from high school, F attended Nanjing University, and majored in geochemistry. Immediately after graduation, he enrolled as a graduate student at the Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing. In 1984, he left China and continued his graduate studies at the University of Toronto, and later in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his PhD in geology, and met his wife, Anna. In the summer of 1996, Frank received his calling from the Lord, and he has devoted his life to Christian ministry.

In 1999, Frank returned to his hometown and started the Agape Education Fund to support poor children in their pursuit of education. Agape Way has helped over 6000 students to attend school and pursue their dreams.

Since 2000, Frank and his wife have been running Agape Way to share God’s love and truth. During his 27+ years of ministry as a pastor and President of Agape Way, he has been studying and researching science, philosophy, and theology to better serve the Lord and reach the community.  Since March 2021, Agape Way has been providing weekly online training seminars, Bible studies, and discussion forums to help Christians think critically about important challenging topics such as evolutionism, atheism, predestination and social issues.
