Dear Beloved Friends and Supporters,

God has been at work in powerful ways through Agape Way. Let me share one story that shows His love in action.

✨ Story of Hope: Lina and Chann

Last week, Niya visited a family near his church. The sister, whom we’ll call Lina, and her brother, Chann, had just recently come to believe in Jesus Christ. Before giving them food, Pastor Phearum shared the good news of the Gospel, and the siblings responded with open hearts. That very Sunday, they came to church for the first time.

At home, Lina and Chann were nearly out of rice. Their supply was so low that they did not know how they would eat in the coming days. Receiving food at that exact moment felt like a miracle. With tears in their eyes, they praised God for His timely provision and for the love shown through His church.

🏗️ Ministry Updates

Trip to Canada & Pathway Board Meeting

Pastor Luo invited us to share at his church in Toronto. The congregation warmly received Agape Way’s vision and decided to participate in the ministry in Cambodia. We also visited other churches in Canada to share testimonies and invite them to partner with us. During this trip, we held the first board meeting of Agape Way Canada — a milestone in expanding our ministry’s reach.

Phearum’s Church Building

Construction has begun on Pastor Phearum’s new church building in Banteay Meanchey. With two photos showing the progress, we rejoice that the building is expected to be completed by the end of January 2026. This permanent home will serve his growing congregation of over 100 members with 7 church plants.

New English Classes

After several weeks of preparation, two new online English classes began last week with a total of 27 Cambodian students. These classes are taught by two dedicated volunteers: Mr. Walter, Agape Way’s Board Chair, and Mrs. Hsu.

Through their teaching, students are gaining valuable language skills that will open doors for future opportunities, while also creating meaningful pathways for evangelism and discipleship.

Thailand–Cambodia Border Crisis Persists

Renewed clashes and landmine incidents have shaken the fragile ceasefire along the Thailand–Cambodia border. Thousands remain displaced, unable to return home safely, and continue to rely on food aid. Ongoing insecurity and blocked farmland make continuous food distribution vital to prevent hunger and stabilize vulnerable families. Our teams continue to distribute food to families in need.

🎓 Current Needs & Opportunities

Student Sponsorships

The Cambodian schools’ new semester started on November 3. Sponsorships are urgently needed for 20 students:

  • $30/month for primary or middle school students
  • $90/month for high school students

Your support provides education, discipleship, and hope for children growing up in extreme poverty. Here are two students who are waiting for sponsors:

🌼 Meet Trina, who serves faithfully as a Sunday school teacher to the children in her church. She has a deep love of reading and dreams of studying English literature in college. After her parents’ divorce, Trina now lives with her grandmother. Despite the challenges of poverty, she continues to pursue her education and holds onto her vision for the future.

🚓 Meet Manyou, who came to know the Lord at the age of seven. While his parents work in Thailand, his two brothers and he are cared for by their grandmother. Growing up in poverty, Manyou dreams of becoming a policeman one day, serving and protecting his community.

Ponlauk’s Testimony & Needs

Pastor Ponlauk was born into a Buddhist family. His oldest brother first believed in Christ and brought the Gospel home. Over time, his siblings also came to faith, and after many years of resistance, his father finally accepted Jesus in 2022 before passing into the Lord’s presence. We met Ponlauk during our trip to Cambodia last year. At that time, he was faithfully leading worship and serving in children’s ministry, and now he is also preaching at a new church plant. He is the younger brother of Pastors Phearum and Niya, and, remarkably, three of the five brothers in his family serve the Lord as pastors.

Ponlauk is studying at the Bible School (SBS) to be further equipped for ministry. He has completed one semester and needs two more. Tuition is $600 per semester, with a total of $1,200 still needed.

Pastor Niya’s Van Need

For over a year, Pastor Niya’s church has been faithfully praying for a van ($10,000). This van would be a vital tool for ministry:

  • Transporting members to worship services and outreach events
  • Carrying supplies for food distribution and village ministry trips
  • Strengthening the church’s ability to serve surrounding communities

Church Building Fund

Pastor Phearum’s church construction still requires additional funds ($5,000) to complete. Every gift helps provide a permanent home for worship and discipleship.

🎄 End-of-Year Campaign

As 2025 draws to a close, we invite you to sow into eternity. Your prayers and gifts make an eternal impact:

  • Children stay in school and grow in faith.
  • Pastors receive biblical training and mentoring.
  • Missionaries are sustained on the frontlines.
